A few more shots from the Race Retro weekend, that didn't fit the previous titles.

Race Retro Rally Stage

The highlight of my trip to Race Retro 2015 was the live stage. While undoubtedly the least scenic stage, with an array of cones, tapes and hi-visibility jackets, the feast of automobilia on show was quite remarkable. I stuck primarily with low shutter speeds to focus attention on the cars, and tried to work a few angles that didn't incorporate too much of the unwanted backgrounds. 

 

I died and awoke in Rally Heaven.

Saturday saw my first trip to Race Retro, an event held annually at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. Aside from a huge array of stalls in the four halls, there was a quite epic array of historic and Group B rally cars on display. It was pretty much a compendium of every car I dreamed of as a young boy in the mid-80s, after trips to watch the Lombard RAC Rally, as it was then. There was so much to photograph, I have dedicated a post here to the stills of the cars in Parc Ferme. I will have to spend a bit of time this week preparing the action shots to post up on here!
